Six Senses Spa Releasees Spa Book Worldwide

Book Cover The Six Senses Spa has just released a book called Balancing Senses which aims to maintain that elusive spa feeling long after the treatments. The book looks at detoxing to yoga and from body treatments to organic food.

Balancing Senses, a 160 page hardcover book will include easy-to-follow recipes and guidelines for nourishing the body both internally and externally, and will also feature 266 images by award-winning illustrator Jörg Sundermann.

The book is split into four different chapters. The first chapter looks at 'Body Sense' and how to maintain the body with healthy eating choices. The second chapter 'Beauty Sense' looks at the ways bodies change as we age and how to choose products to protect bodies. The chapter also includes recipes for readers to make their own home spas.

The third chapter is where it becomes more involved, called 'Mind Sense' it looks at how the spa body cannot be achieved if the inner being isn't addressed. Movement therapies such as yoga, t'ai chi and qi gong is looked at, as well as meditation and holistic therapy.

And of course the book wouldn't be complete without an authentic spa experience on display. 'Spa Journey' in Chapter four looks at the different Six Senses Spas around the world.

Written by Kate O'Brien, the book is published by Editions Didier Millet and will be launched in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.

A French edition will be released later in the year.
