Estala Skin Care announced a new line of custom products to treat acne-prone skin and aging skin. The company, which launched last year, is offering FDA-approved and animal testing-free products that have been formulated by doctors.
The acne-fighting regimen includes benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, two common acne-fighting ingredients, to target acne in two different ways. While benzoyl peroxide kills acne-causing acne, salicylic acid works to exfoliate skin and clear buildup. The formula also uses retinol to increase turnover of skin cells, diminish dark spots caused by acne, and clear pores. The regimen is available for both normal and oily skin.
Estala’s anti-aging regimen is designed to help reduce signs of aging. The line includes a revitalizing toner, eye cream, cell repair serum, skin-lightening cream to reduce hyperpigmentation, and a moisturizing cream. The moisturizing cream contains CoQ10, an enzyme that helps skin produce collagen and elastin. The products include ingredients like hydrocortisone to help fight inflammation and retinol to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
