Dánielné Molnár, also known as Aunt Ilike, founder of Ilike Organic Skin Care, passed away on Jan. 9, at the age of 87. Molnár dedicated her life to the development and advancement of natural remedies as well as the improvement of world-wide esthetics knowledge and practices. This life-long passion was embodied in the cosmetic product line branded under her name. Molnár grew up in a family of herbalists in the small Hungarian village of Nagykokenyes. After receiving her esthetician's license in 1958, she immediately began work developing the Ilike Organic Skin Care line. She dedicated the next 55 years working as an esthetician, international educator, developer of organic skincare products and flag bearer for the natural and organic movement. She often spread her wisdom through the media as a weekly guest on a Hungarian television program about cooking extolling the health benefits of various vegetables and herbs. Throughout her life, Molnár received countless awards - including the Cross of Merit of the Hungarian Republic given by the President and Prime Minister of Hungary, a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Hungarian Beautician Association, an Award for Natural Medicine, and more. Molnár's products have been enjoyed for 55 years and today are available in 45 markets worldwide. Her son Ferenc who established the manufacturing company with her and has been running the business in all aspects for decades will continue her work.
