Todd Shaw, spa director at Spa at The Peaks at The Peaks Resort & Spa (Telluride, CO) Spa at The Peaks at The Peaks Resort & Spa (Telluride, CO) has announced Todd Shaw as its new spa director. As a leader in the spa industry and current chairman of the board for the International Spa Association (ISPA), Shaw has dedicated years to spa and fitness management and is known for his international leadership of world-class multi-site resort and membership-based organizations. Shaw prides himself on creating an employee culture that delivers service standard excellence, providing guests with a welcoming, integrated approach. His previous experience, includes serving as the director of spa, fitness, and wellness at Spa La Quinta at La Quinta Resort & Club (CA), the director of fitness, tennis, and spa at The Club at Las Campanas in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and corporate director of spa and wellness at Auriga Spa at Capella Resorts (multiple locations) where he oversaw development and operation of Capella’s premium spa, fitness, tennis, and wellness programs and facilities in Austria, Mexico, and Singapore. “I’m excited for this opportunity to join the team at the Spa at The Peaks and see a number of opportunities to build on our existing programming and offerings,” says Shaw. “My philosophy is to create a comfortable, fun environment and instill confidence in everyone that walks in the door.”
