Eco-friendly day spa SpaBlue (Del Mar, CA) has hired Jane Terry as spa director and promoted Cassandra Clough to spa manager. Spa owner Emma Hughes says the duo will enhance SpaBlue's product offerings, sales strategies, operational practices, eco-friendly initiatives, and more. As spa director, Terry brings more than 20 years of experience in high-end retail and spa environments, adding expertise to the development of SpaBlue's business strategies and product offerings while also lending vision to operational practices that promote a professional and highly collaborative work environment. Terry began her career in the spa industry as a massage therapist and esthetician. Throughout her career, Terry has held management positions with several notable day spas in California and Florida.
Previously serving as SpaBlue's eco spa supervisor, Clough continues to spearhead SpaBlue's sustainable initiatives in her new role as spa manager. She implements current and future green practices found throughout the entire facility, including its services, improvements, and renovations, while also managing all spa partnerships, ensuring all companies SpaBlue works with maintain a green focus, and a shared vision. Through the management of all daily spa operations, Clough also oversees the front desk management, banking, and payroll.
