Spas Rely on Holiday Treatments to Spice Up Their Menus

‘Tis the season to spa, thanks to a variety of holiday-themed services that will leave spa-goers feeling joyful this December. At The Spa at Ravella (Las Vegas), guests can enjoy the perfect escape ($25), which includes a mini treatment, cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and spa gift each Thursday, from 6 to 8pm. Appletinis & Aromatherapy are on the menu Dec. 1 and allow guests to mix the perfect blend of essential oils into a one-of-a-kind mini body butter under the guidance of Ravella’s Aroma Artists while socializing with friends over sweet appletinis. On Dec. 8, spa-goers can opt for Mimosas & Makeovers. Subsequent weeks include Reindeeritas & Relaxation, which involves a revitalizing neck and shoulder massage; Eggnog & Eyelashes; and Mistletinis & Manicures.  At Corbu Spa & Salon at The Charles Hotel (Cambridge, MA), guests will discover holiday treats, from Nov. 26 to Dec. 31, that are good enough to eat. The Oatmeal Cookies and Cream Pedicure and Manicure (Pedi: $60, 60 minutes; Mani: $45, 45 minutes), features a custom-made oatmeal cookie scrub made of chopped oats, oatmeal, sugar, and coconut oil. It also include a rich hydrating cream that is imbued with an oatmeal cookie fragrance. In addition, there is the Peppermint Vanilla Honey Pedicure ($65, 60 minutes), a sweet treat that comes with one as well—hot cocoa and a candy cane. How is your holiday-inspired menu shaping up?
