Le Relais Bernard Loiseau, a five-star property in France’s Burgundy region known for its two-star Michelin restaurant, has debuted a $7.1 million spa, La Villa Loiseau des Sens.

Set in its own four-story building, the 16,000-square-foot, 10-treatment-room retreat offers two complimentary experiences—a multisensorial space and a delight space. The multisensorial area is designed to stimulate the five senses through a phlebology area, water bikes, massage alcoves, a pool, and a geyser. The delight area offers a sauna with a view of the garden, hammams, an experiential shower, and more. A range of services are available, including those performed using The Secrets de Cassis range, created by Dominique Loiseau (the wife of the late Bernard Loiseau) and based on the benefits of Burgundy blackcurrants. Additionally, the spa includes an 700-square-foot VIP Spa Suite on its top floor, offering a panoramic view of the Auxois Mountains and the hotel’s lush gardens. It includes a hammam, a sauna, a balneotherapy pool, and a fireplace. The suite experience includes Champagne, dessert and room service, and access to the main spa areas and signature treatments. The suite is available for a full or half day for up to eight guests, while couples can book an overnight stay.

The announcement of the spa's final phase comes as Le Relais Bernard Loiseau appointed public relations firm Geoffrey Weill Associates to handle its public relations in North America and the UK for a two-month project to promote the completion of the new spa. “We are thrilled to be promoting a property with such an incredibly rich history and story, being a family-run business from the start,” says Geoffrey Weill, company president. “The name Bernard Loiseau is now not only synonymous with the very best of French cuisine and service, but now also with well-being and a holistic approach to traveling in France.”
