Spa-Goers Enjoy Swiss Bliss at The Dolder Grand

I just returned from Zurich yesterday, where I spent four days at the absolutely amazing Dolder Grand. In addition to touring the city (which quickly became my #1 favorite place in Europe...sorry Monaco), visiting local museums, and eating some of the best food I've ever had, I also had the opportunity to spend time at The Dolder Grand Spa. As an editor for American Spa, obviously I have been to many spas all over the world, but I must say, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. In addition to an extensive list of treatments, the spa also offers visitors use of the Aqua Zone, an area of the spa that houses a large swimming pool with a view of the city, a reclining area with outdoor whirlpools, several Sanariums and steambaths, and (my absolute favorite) the Snow Paradise room, which is filled with actual snow on the ground and walls with icicles on the ceiling where guests are encouraged to go after a steam or sauna. To find out more about what this Swiss paradise has to offer spa-goers, keep your eyes open for the full scoop in an upcoming issue.
