Aveda Introduces New Virtual Makeover App

Although I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food and travel, I can't really say the same when referring to my personal style. Even going from day to night, I can't say my look changes all that dramatically. That isn't to say I don't sometimes have an overwhelming desire to color my hair red or opt for a cute cropped look. Now, I can see the results without the risk thanks to Aveda's new iPad application and web-based platform. The popular eco-beauty brand just released My Aveda Make-Over, a free app that allows uses to virtually change their hair color or style. Exploring new looks, users can choose from a number of color offerings created with Aveda Full Spectrum Professional Hair Color and a library of hairstyles. The app also serves as a consultation tool to help colorists and stylists help clients envision a new color, cut, or style. Now, I no longer have to wonder what I'd look like as a redhead.
