Book Clubs Find a Happy Home in Today's Spas

This week, The New York Times published Sit Back, Relax and Turn the Page, an article in which I was asked to contribute my two cents worth on the growing popularity of spa book clubs. I first wrote about the topic a couple of years ago when the Spa at the Omni Mount Washington Resort (Bretton Woods, NH) became the setting for the Bretton Woods Book Club. It seemed an ingenious idea to me at the time, and I'm happy to see other spas following suit and expanding on the idea with author readings, book and product bundling, themed treatments, and more. As a member of a book club myself, I can't think of a better place to kick back and discuss a great page-turner. Look for more on Bliss's new book club in an upcoming issue.
