I’m thrilled to share that the holidays are not over. In case you weren’t aware, today is National Bubble Bath Day and deserves a proper foam-filled tub of a celebration. The last time I indulged in an honest-to-goodness bubble bath was months ago on a tropical vacation, but I plan to change that this evening with a relaxing soak. Here’s a few bucket-list-worthy natural hot springs; passport but no suds required in these healing waters:
- Blue Lagoon (Iceland) is a manmade bright turquoise pool 30 minutes from Reykjavik.
- Terme di Saturnia (Tuscany, Italy) is a premier thermal spa with pools replenished every four hours by a volcanic spring.
- Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme (Weisbarden, Germany) is built on the site of an ancient Roman sauna and features a Russian steam bath and Finnish sauna.
- Heviz Lake (Hungary) is the world’s largest biologically active, natural medicinal lake surrounded by parks and decorated with water lilies.
Even on a non-holiday, a bath filled with aromatic essential oils is an excellent suggestion for weary clients as an add-on treatment to boost your bottom line. More on the healing powers of water here.
