Giving new meaning to the idea of ruffing it, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa (San Antonio) recently introduced a new canine program, which allows guests to bring along their four-legged friends. The hotel has designated a specific number of rooms with "barking lot" access as "Pups on Vacation" rooms. Guests will find treats, bowls, and doggie bags for their puppy pals on arrival. There is even a Canine Cuisine in-room dining menu, which includes German Shepherds' Pie, Bark-fast Grrrrrrr-nola, Yappi-tizers, and tail-waggin treats, such as Barkin' Biscotti and Snicker-Poodles. And pampered pooches won't want to miss a visit to Windflower-The Hill Country Spa, where they can experience the You Dirty Dog shampoo or Pawdicure. Although I don't have a pooch of my own, this program certainly makes me wish I did.
