Live Happy

Do you live in a happy country? I hadn't considered the question until I happened upon the The World Happiness Report 2015 produced by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). Yes there is an official report about happiness, and it has been completed annually since 2012 to encourage world leaders to pursue a sustainable development agenda with wellbeing as a key component. Over the years it has shown that wellbeing and happiness are critical indicators of a nation's economic and social development; but we didn't need to tell you that spas and the wellbeing it offers spa-goers brings in business and profit. This latest report digs deeper into the data collected, looking at country trends since the first report, regional indicators, factors in gender and age, and the importance of investing in social capital. Here are the top five countries where happiness thrives:

  1. Switzerland
  2. Iceland
  3. Denmark
  4. Norway
  5. Canada

Are any of you lucky enough to live and work in one of these blissful locales? We'd love to hear what it's like living in one of the happiest places on earth! For everyone else you can be happier each day with the new app Happier, check it out here.
