To start, Furst guides the client through breathing exercises and a medicine song, which is used to acknowledge the sacred ceremony and to call the spirits. Then, she presents the client with three separate sets of cards along with 20 stones and crystals. Furst then interprets the client's selection and helps him or her choose a path toward healing and transformation.
