NoMI Spa Debuts Holiday Treatments

This past summer, I got the chance to visit NoMI Spa at the Park Hyatt Chicago. While there, I experienced a wonderfully refreshing service that offered me a perfect retreat from the heat. (Check out American Spa’s October 2011 feature on the spa here.) After meeting  director Rachael E. McCrory, I was certain she would be driven to come up with exciting and inventive offerings to keep the spa menu fresh throughout the year. So I wasn’t surprised when I heard about the fun new treatments that will be highlighted this holiday season. Using Farmhouse Fresh products, spa-goers can keep cozy with the following new services that capture the holiday spirit:

Hot Toddy for the Body ($110, 45 minutes)
With a rich Kentucky bourbon and organic brown sugar, this decadent exfoliating body treatment softens every rough and tough edge.  A peppery caramel body milk is then massaged into the skin restoring silky smoothness.

Pumpkin POREfection Facial ($140, 45 minutes)
This refining facial treatment involves sunflower seeds marinated in lemon, clove, and thyme to exfoliate and refine the skin followed by a spicy organic pumpkin mask that then digs deep into the pores, removing congestion and increasing circulation.

Gingerbread MANicure and Pedicure ($110, 90 minutes)
This invigorating treatment begins with an application of warm caramel shea butter. Next, a custom blended scrub of brown sugar and Kentucky bourbon smoothes away dry areas. The hands and feet are then massaged gingerbread scented body milk followed by the traditional custom manicure and pedicure treatment with Deborah Lippman nail laquer.

Each treatment concludes with a seasonal small bite and a unique beverage from NoMI Kitchen. If guests fall in love with Farmhouse Fresh products, thoughtfully pre-assembled gift baskets containing Farm House Fresh products are available for purchase. Are you mixing up your spa menu this season? I’d love to hear the details. Be sure to share them here.
