Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve Introduces a Sweet Retreat

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to visit Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, Thailand. A gorgeous paradise, it seemed almost too good to be true. In keeping with that sentiment, the resort recently introduced a new four-day wellness retreat that sounds too good to be true, as well. The Paradise in Balance Retreat (starting at $3,000 based on double occupancy) includes three-nights accommodation in a Reserve Pool Villa, 24-hour dedicated butler service, complimentary roundtrip transfers from Krabi Airport, and a special Thai welcome amenity. In addition, guests will enjoy a daily one-hour morning meditation walk led by a Buddhist Monk from the nearby Tiger Cave Temple, a daily one-hour private yoga or Pilates Reformer class, a Thai raw food cooking class with Phulay Bay's chef Gaetan Biesuz, a one-hour healthy lifestyle class led by the Wellness Reserve team, and a daily boat trip along the Andaman Sea to Hong Island with a healthy picnic. Spa enthusiasts will find much to rave about with the Thai Herbal Infusion Ritual that is included. If that isn't enough, they'll be happy to learn the retreat also includes one of ESPA's customized spa treatments, which involves a foot cleansing, a full-body exfoliation, and a massage; an ESPA Express Facial, and a daily one-hour Thai Massage. While I didn't need to be tempted to return, it certainly makes the idea of another visit all the sweeter. For more on ESPA at Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, check out our upcoming October issue.
