Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa Gives the Heart a Little Love This February

Several years ago my dad went in for a routine checkup. Unfortunately, the physical was deemed about as routine as they come when he was told he would need bypass surgery, one of the most common surgeries performed in the U.S. Considering the fact that heart disease is a leading cause of death, it should come as no surprise that February is National Heart Health Month. While most spas are gearing up with romance-themed packages to put couples in the mood for love, Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa (Miami) is focused on helping guests to lower their heart disease risk factors. This February, Pritikin is offering a special Heart Health Package ($550 per person per week), which includes an Echocardiogram, Carotid Ultrasound, updated blood panel, and a consultation with a cardiologist. While celebrating the month with rose-petal baths and chocolate-dipped strawberries and Champagne is nice, getting spa-goers on track to achieve a healthier heart is priceless. In what ways is your spa helping guests lead healthier lives?
