I tend to overuse the term “retail therapy” in my vocabulary. But it’s true, shopping for clothing is therapeutic for me, and likely for many of your clients. However, Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa (NY) takes “retail therapy” to a different level. What’s more therapeutic than shopping inside of a spa, with spa treatments at clients’ fingertips?
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa partnered with several established and up-and-coming fashion and lifestyle brands for a rotating series of pop-up shops for The Fashion Collective at Gurney’s. Brands will be selling their merchandise every weekend from June 16 through Labor Day Weekend on Gurney’s Roof Deck. The Roof Deck will offer activities to help guests relax, such as life-size chess, shuffleboard, and comfy seating for guests, while they do some shopping and sip on a cool cocktail. Previous designer brands included Solkissed, Haute Hippie, Fancy, Edie Parker, and Maje. Upcoming Fashion Collective events include:

Guests attending the Fashion Collective events also have the opportunity to indulge in the Seawater Spa’s relaxing treatments. Guests can enjoy the Ultimate Detox Therapy ($345, 2 hours), which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system by dry brushing the body, followed by a seawater hydro massage. Guests can also indulge in the Gurney’s Customized Massage ($140, 60 minutes; $215, 90 minutes), which customizes your massage using specialty products including aromatherapy blends, warm towels, and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
