Pevonia's Anti-Free Radicals Treatment

Pevonia's 60-minute Anti-Free Radicals Treatment (suggested price varies per spa location and service enhancements) begins with a gentle cleansing with Eye Make-up Remover Lotion and is followed by Anti-Stress Eye Lotion. The therapist then cleanses the face, neckand décolleté with a Pevonia cleanser chosen to the client's skin type. After removing the cleanser with warm wet pads, the therapist applies a skin-appropriate Pevonia lotion. Next, a half teaspoon of Enzymes Powder Mask is mixed with a small quantity of warm water, and the creamy mixture is brushed over the client's face and neck, within a half-inch of the eyes. Steam is applied for five to 10 minutes, and if applicable, a gentle extraction is done. The skin is then cleansed again with Phyto-Gel foaming cleanser to remove any enzyme residue, followed by lotion. Next, a high-frequency red mushroom electrode is used on sensitive skin or a violet mushroom electrode is used on all other skin types for three to five minutes. The therapist then carefully opens the Vitaminic Concentrate ampoule, applies the Concentrate on the skin, and proceeds with the massage—the Lymph-Aroma Facial Massage is highly recommended. After the massage, an eye mask is applied, and a teaspoon of Micro-Emulsion Massage Cream is used on the face. The eyes and eyebrows are covered with pads moistened with Anti-Stress Eye Lotion, and a gauze mask is pressed over the face until it adheres completely. After the remaining cream is applied over the gauze with a brush, a mixture of Anti-Free Radicals Mask powder and water is immediately spread over the client's face, stopping under the jaw line, and left on for 15 minutes. The hardened mask is then lifted off in one piece, and the skin is wiped with pads moistened with Pevonia face lotionEye Cream is applied around the eyes. As the final step, Pevonia's Care Cream, according to skin type, is put the client's face and neck. For Pevonia products, contact: (800) PEVONIA; www.pevonia.com—J.S

Kneipp's Arnica & Calendula Foot & Leg Reflexology Treatment

For this stimulating treat, the therapist first soaks the client’s feet in warm still water infused with a Calendula Foot Soak Tablet. This produces a powerful effervescent effect that stimulates the feet and makes the use of jets unnecessary. The feet are then exfoliated using a foot scrub in the scent of the client’s choice. For a special foot treat, Kneipp recommends scrubbing with a blend of crushed Classic Thermal Spring Salts and Classic Body Wash—the Juniper (muscle soothing) or Rosemary (invigorating) botanical scents are both good choices. Next, the feet are revitalized with a cool rinse and refreshed with a light spritz of Calendula Foot Spray. A foot reflexology massage, using Calendula Foot Balm to moisturize and protect the skin, follows. To increase leg circulation and relieve stress and discomfort, the legs are then massaged with Arnica Intensive Cream. To intensify the soothing action of the cream, warm steaming towels can be applied to the legs for five minutes. Kneipp’s Arnica ' Calendula Foot ' Leg Treatment takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes depending on the duration of the massage and has a recommended menu price of $75 to $100.
