Yoga Romance

Last year a post-Valentine’s Day survey revealed the income potential of this romantic holiday. According to Booker, its member spas saw a 43 percent increase in revenue around the holiday of love last year (more details here). If the number of lovely lovey-dovey treatments arriving in my inbox is any indication, you all took notice. As such, I’m devoting a week to the many ways your spas are celebrating all things love with Valentine’s Day inspired offerings sure to bring in spa-goers and even more revenue this year.

The first I’d like to highlight is a mind-body love connection at Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain (CO). New yoga lead Tanya Miller and Dave Garancosky are hosting a Hatha yoga Valentine’s Day Partner Class (starting at $45 per couple) on Feb. 14. The special class will feature candlelight ambiance, chocolates, and wine. Guests can come as couples or be open to pairing up in shared postures of twists, folds, and heart openers to deepen their connection.

What do you think of this authentic, meditative focus on love?
