WTS International provided pre-opening and now administers daily management services for Spa at L'Auberge in Sedona, Arizona. L'Auberge de Sedon is considered one of the world's finest retreats. It was recently included on Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List as one of the world's best places to stay, and as a Top 500 hotel by Travel + Leisure Magazine.
The retreat is located along the banks of Oak Creek, in a lush forest enclosed by Arizona's Red Rocks. As part of its pre-opening services, WTS helped implement Spa at L'Auberge to take maximum advantage of this stunning physical environment. As a result, guests can receive spa treatments in a unique creekside cabana enclosed by trees, in any of the treatment rooms, or privately.
'To make certain Spa at L'Auberge becomes recognized for outstanding service throughout the southwest, WTS recruited an elite group of estheticians and massage therapists,' said Gary Henkin, president, WTS International. 'By curbing the number of treatments provided, WTS has enhanced the overall quality of the Spa user's experience, and we attracted top talent who are serious about their craft of delivering premier spa services and treatments.'
The highly regarded spa staff provide such signature treatments as the 'Deep Blue Lavender Embrace.' In this treatment, guests are gently buffed with local lavender, followed by a wrap of shea lavender and paraffin for the hands, then a foot-and-scalp massage.
The treatment concludes with a 30-minute lavender oil massage. Spa products include Institut Esthederm, L'Occitane and ElizabethW. WTS selected Leah Gower to serve as spa director. Prior to joining Spa at L'Auberge, Gower served as Spa Guest Services manager for the Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa in Carefree, Arizona.
