Aromatherapy Associates opened its first lifestyle boutique in the chic neighborhood of Knightsbridge, London. The boutique will go beyond retail and offer customers the ultimate in customization with aromatherapy options, as well as signature facials and massage treatments on site. The main floor of the boutique features an elegant décor that includes mirrored accents and a custom-made chandelier made entirely of the iconic bath & shower oil bottles. The entire collection of Aromatherapy Associates’ bodycare, skincare, and gift collections are on display on that level. Visitors to the store can try mini treatments and sample products recommended by the staff of expert aromatherapists on hand. An ingredient bar allows customers to experience the essential oils in their raw botanical form, giving them the opportunity to understand how each oil works in concert to treat varying conditions. The bottom level of the store features the treatment rooms where guests can receive one of the many treatments on the menu of services. In addition, delicious treats, like rose and lavender macaroons and cottage pies will be offered to guests. “It is a dream come true for us to have our own platform to shout about, and for people to experience, the life changing benefits of aromatherapy,” says Geraldine Howard, president and co-founder of Aromatherapy Associates. “The space is dedicated to the therapeutic value of essential oils and each and every person who walks through the door will take a valuable experience away with them.”
