Nearly 200 students graduated from Bellus Academy beauty school on Sunday, July 8 in front of an audience of more than 600 people. In partnering with top salons and spas around the world to ensure graduates prestigious employment, Bellus Academy can boast alumni working at Hotel del Coronado, Pure Salon and Day Spa, Loft Hair Design and Skin Care, as well as Headline for Hair and Zen Bi. During the ceremony, graduates from the Poway, National City, and El Cajon campuses listened to keynote speeches from Leslie Marcus, one of the original founders of the FOX 5 San Diego Morning Show, Allison Andrews, founder of APA Business Consulting, Inc., and Tracey Sameyah, President of the Inclusive Health division of Murad, Inc. A 2011 graduate remarked, “Finding my way to Bellus Academy is the best thing that ever could have happened to me.” One can only bet that this year's graduates feel much the same.
