Dermalogica founder Jane Wurwand joined a panel of entrepreneurs as part of the Women: Inspiration & Enterprise (wienetwork.org) workshop held in New York City. The organization was founded by Sarah Brown, Donna Karan, and Arianna Huffington. The panel, moderated by British TV presenter, June Sarpong, explored the question, “What is the future of Philanthropy, Social Enterprise and Corporate Social Responsibility – The Business of Doing Good?” Jane and other panelists discussed the need for global women’s financial empowerment through micro-lending, including Dermalogica’s women’s initiative, joinFITE.
