Green Spa Network Announces a Year of Networking Events and New Initiatives

Bolstering its position as a solid sustainability resource, Green Spa Network has announced a robust year of networking events and new initiatives.

The major highlights include: the Second Annual GSN Buyers Conference, an invitation-only event that takes place April 28 – May 1 at the Stein Erikson Lodge in Park City Utah; the GSN Sixth Annual Congress, slated for September 22 – 25 at the Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, CO,  which will focus on the theme “New Growth: Pioneering Bold, Productive Change;” and the Spa Sectors First Sustainability Summit, a gathering of the industry’s foremost sustainability thinkers.

Additionally, GSN and the non-profit Green America will jointly launch the Green Gain tool in the summer. The interactive sustainability tool, the first of its kind, will evaluate a spa’s green practices and provide a customized, actionable plan for each spa.

“With engagement from world-class sustainability experts this year,” says Roberto Arjona, GSN Chairman and General Manager of Rancho La Puerta, “Green Spa Network’s tools and events provide the road map to going green. Focusing on sustainability provides real competitive advantage while taking spas to the next level of social responsibility for their clients and their communities.”
