Learn how the Equi-spective Experience at Salamander Resort & Spa Teaches Mindfulness

Equestrian programs have long been popular among spa-goers and with good reason. Connecting with horses has been shown to reveal a great deal about an individual's communication style as well as the type of energy that person is projecting out into the world. I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Equi-Spective Experience at Salamander Resort & Spa (Middleburg, VA). My biggest take-away was that I need to slow down and practice a bit of patience in my every day life. I have Patrick, my four-legged friend (seen in the video below), to thank for that revelation. Above all, I was left feeling happy and relaxed, thanks to the time spent with Patrick. While my energy might have needed a bit of work, his was the perfect antidote. Here, equestrian director Sheryl Jordan shares some of the benefits people gain through the program.
