HolograFit, LLC today announced they will unveil the world’s first group fitness program that features life-sized holographic fitness instructors at two trade shows in Chicago this month. The debut will be at the National Franchise & Business Opportunities Show on October 19 and 20, and again at the Club Industry Fitness Show on October 24 and 25. Based on the same groundbreaking technology as the spectacular Tupac Shakur hologram that stunned the world in early 2012, HolograFit® is intent on bringing all the wonder and magic of an amusement park attraction to the surprising arena of a fitness facility. HolograFit’s holographic effects were orchestrated by Geoff Puckett of EffectDesign in San Rafael, California, creator of special effects installations for Disney, Ford Motor Company, the Broadway production of The Lion King and the Smithsonian Institute.
The HolograFit program offers a state-of-the-art, fully automated holographic fitness package to entrepreneurs seeking to launch an exciting new fitness business, as well as to established fitness businesses looking to find a way to stand head-and-shoulders above the competition. HolograFit offers up to 7 distinct group fitness class formats which run on a totally automated system. The system runs 75 group fitness classes 7 days-a-week within a state-of-the-art holographic installation delivering a continuous stream of high quality group fitness programming at a fraction of the cost of facilities which utilize live instructors.
After purchasing the HolograFit Fitness Pod™, HolograFit subscribers pay a monthly subscription fee to receive the constantly refreshed holographic class content via the Internet. The centerpiece of the HolograFit business model is the D●Mension Fitness Program™. The D●Mension Fitness Program is composed of 7 distinct class formats, each with unique choreography/routines designed by its instructor.
There are two options for viewing the HolograFit Fitness Pod in person: Make an appointment to view the full-scale version with life-sized instructors at the HolograFit showroom in Sunnyvale. Please note appointments for viewing the full size installation are available beginning December 6, 2013. The second option is viewing a 1/3 scale version live at a trade show. Please visit http://www.HolograFit.com for the HolograFit trade show schedule.
Although historically group fitness classes are comprised primarily of females ages 25-55, fitness centers nationwide have found it expedient to modify their fitness programming to attract more clients. While HolograFit offers many proprietary D●Mension Fitness Program classes which are aimed at the 25-55 female demographic - such as the dance fitness class Dance Par●D™ and the Latin-inspired dance exercise class D●Bomba™, and the two yoga classes (D●Compress 1.0™ and D●Compress 2.0™) - HolograFit also offers several classes which appeal to a crossover demographic of male clients, such as D●Fense™, a kickboxing boot camp class, and D●Velop™, a group strength barbell class.
Clubs with group cycling stationary bicycles will have the additional option of offering D●Tour™, a group cycling class that features spectacular visual environmental backgrounds which match the cueing of the instructor. The option of an all-cycling schedule also is offered for clubs which have a dedicated cycling room.
