Fitness International, Irvine, California, has opened Club Studio, a new fitness concept for the company that also owns LA Fitness, Esporta Fitness and City Sports Club, the company announced on Jan. 26.
The first Club Studio opened in December at the Oak Creek Shopping Center in Irvine. Fitness International plans to open additional Club Studios around the country soon. The company website shows clubs opening soon in Long Beach, California, and Orlando, Florida.
Dues run $189 per month for a single membership.
The 40,000-square-foot club features six boutique fitness studios. The studios include CS4, a strength studio that incorporates treadmills, rowers, bikes and functional strength training equipment. The Box studio offers seven rounds of boxing combinations and athletic drills. The Ride studio offers 45-minute indoor cycling classes with a weight sequence. The Hot Yoga studio features traditional yoga asanas, opening yin poses, and heart pumping burpees on the mat. The Rebound studio offer three signature 45-minute cardio trampoline classes. The Reform studio hosts 45-minute reformer-based Pilates class.
In addition, the club has a cryotherapy and recovery area with electric cryotherapy chambers, access to massage rollers and compression therapy. It also includes steam rooms, infrared saunas, whirlpool spas and towels.
The space also offers free weights, strength and cardio areas, a swimming pool, functional training area, basketball court, locker rooms personal training, kids' babysitting services, a juice bar and a retail store.
