ISPA Conference & Expo Honors Blake Mycoskie with Humanitarian Award

The International SPA Association (ISPA) announced that the winner of the ISPA Humanitarian Award is Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS. The award will be presented at the 23rd annual ISPA Conference & Expo at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from Oct. 21-23, 2013. Since its founding in 2006, TOMS has donated over two million pairs of new shoes to children in need. The company also recently expanded its unique business model to include TOMS Eyewear, helping to save and restore sight to more than 100,000 underprivileged individuals. “ISPA is honored to present Blake with this very deserving award. Not only does Blake have a philanthropic heart, but he has inspired us all to give back and do our part,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. Mycoskie will be the keynote speaker at the ISPA conference, addressing attendees on intertwining philanthropy and business to achieve success.

The Humanitarian Award is given to an outstanding individual who has contributed to ISPA’s mission of improving overall well-being, and encouraging the renewal of mind, body and spirit.
