Designer Jason Wu chose OPI Got the Blues for Red nail lacquer to complement his pre-fall 2012 collection, which he unveiled Dec. 2. The collection was inspired by modern artist Charley Harper and the Maharaja. Wu’s use of delicate beading, embroidery, and jewel-toned colors on luxurious sweaters, pointy-collared blouses, and tailored outerwear was complemented by the rich blue-based red nail color on the models’ hands. Got the Blues for Red offers a classic, regal look with cool undertones.
