Allergan Relaunches Brilliant Distinctions Patient Loyalty Program

Allergan, known for its facial aesthetics, plastic surgery, and regenerative medicine business, first launched the Brilliant Distinctions program in 2009. The program gives costumers a chance to earn and redeem savings on products and treatments such as Botox, Juvederm, Latisse, and, now, CoolScuplting.

"When Allergan launched Brilliant Distinctions in 2009, we were the first aesthetic company to offer a  patient savings and loyalty program. A true category innovation, the program serves more than three million members nationwide," said Jim Umberger, vice president, digital/multi-channel marketing, U.S. medical aesthetics for Allergan.

The new program will feature a mobile app to track points, a system that assigns silver, gold, or diamond status to customers based on their activity level, an extended expiration system for points, and a user-friendly dashboard. 

"My patients are always asking how they can save money on the Allergan aesthetic treatments they use regularly, so I'm happy to be able to share the new Brilliant Distinctions program with them," said Deborah Sherman, M.D. "The program is easy for my staff to use, and my patients enjoy the benefits, which rewards them with savings for being faithful to our recommended treatments."

The relaunch coincides with the e-commerce site, Brilliant Connections, which sells SkinMedica products online. Through the site users will earn savings in the Brilliant Distinctions program. There will also be a subscription service, which will replenish products as needed.
