Candela Corporation, announced Health Canada licensing and availability of the Nordlys multi-application platform. The platform has Selective Waveband Technology (SWT) and dual-wavelength Frax Pro non-ablative fractional laser platform. SWT filters out unnecessary light wavelengths and minimizes heat delivery to surrounding tissues, to increase safety for patients while still offering the same results. SWT applicators can be used to treat photo rejuvenation, vascularity, pigmentation, acne, and hair removal. The Frax Pro system has its flexible treatment parameters, including a range of scan width options, and low-cost applicator rollers that minimize treatment expense.
