Cutera, a leading provider of laser, light, and other energy-based aesthetic systems, recently debuted Fraxis PRO, a device which features progressive dermal remodeling technology. The new system combines two clinically proven technologies—fractional CO2 for skin resurfacing and radiofrequency microneedling for total dermal remodeling—to treat a wide range of skin conditions in as little as one session. Fraxis PRO can be used to treat anything from wrinkles and acne scars to stretch marks and burn scars all over the body, with CO2 treating the outermost layers of the skin and the radiofrequency reaching the deeper dermal layers. “The greatest thing about the system is that it delivers the best of both worlds for skin remodeling,” says Ashish C. Bhatia, M.D., FAAD, associate professor of clinical dermatology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. “Whether you’re treating deep acne scars, just looking for a little firming, or a micro peel, Fraxis PRO gives the flexibility to treat all kinds of patient needs.”
