FDA Approves New Breast Implant Options

Available for more than a decade outside the United States, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Mentor Worldwide MemoryShape Breast Implants, adding a new option for breast enhancement and reconstructive surgery. These implants have a natural-looking teardrop shape that mimics the silhouette of real breast tissue better than the common round versions and are filled with a cohesive gel that retains this unique shape and creates a youthful firmness.
