Glam Glow Med Spa Boasts Instagram-Worthy Space in Queens, NY

Glam Glow Med Spa has officially opened its doors in Queens, NY, bringing high-quality medical spa and beauty services to Woodhaven. Glam Glow’s services include body contouring, wood therapy, injectables, microblading and lashes, laser treatments, butt vacuuming, massage, and facials. However, it’s not just the treatments and services that are sure to attract clients. Once a dilapidated former barbershop, Glam Glow Med Spa is now a fun, feminine, and super-Instagrammable space, thanks to New York City-based design firm, studioBIG.

The space features a feminine aesthetic with curves featured prominently in the design of walls, mirrors, ceiling soffits, flooring, and reception desk, and a glamorous color palette of Champagne, pink, ivory, and ebony with accents of rose gold metallic and foliage. Exposed brick adds a New York edge to the space. What’s more, the reception area’s floor-to-ceiling faux foliage wall and a pink neon “Hey Gorgeous” sign are sure to be hotspots for Instagram-worthy photo backgrounds.

A long, narrow retail space leads to private treatment rooms in the back and a central open beauty area with six salon chairs facing a floating wall in the front. Pink wall wash lights in the treatment rooms give the exposed brick a literal “glam glow,” and even the bathroom was designed to be a photograph-worthy space, with textured ivory tile and geode-inspired patterned pink wall covering. There’s beauty all around in this new medical spa.
