Rhonda Allison, founder and CEO of Rhonda Allison Cosmeceuticals, a leading brand in professional skincare and advanced aesthetics, has been inducted into the Aesthetics International Association’s (AIA) Academy of Legends. The AIA has been recognizing outstanding aesthetics professionals for their contributions and outstanding achievements that help to advance the profession for nearly 20 years. Known as the ‘Queen of Peels’ for her work with acids and skin peels, Allison is also a highly respected speaker, author, and educator who has worked in the industry for more than 35 years. Allison is also passionate about ongoing education and opened the RA Education Center (Golden, CO) in 2014 to help professionals enhance their knowledge.
With this honor, Allison joins the ranks of other Academy of Legends personalities, including Catherine Atzen, founder of Atzen, and Eve Gardiner, chief beauty expert at Max Factor. “It is truly an honor to receive this recognition,” says Allison. “I feel very strongly about the importance of continuing education, particularly in professional aesthetics where new ingredients and techniques are constantly evolving. The AIA’s mission to foster leadership and mentoring so we can all learn from one another to further the industry as a whole is one I’m proud to support.”
