Anda Spa at Hotel Ivy (Minneapolis, MN) recently transformed its 16,000 square-foot space in partnership with American-made natural stone surface producer Cambria.
"First impressions count, and one of the aspects our customers pay attention to is our 68 pound Rose Quartz Threshold Stone providing an abundance of warmth upon first glance. Throughout our guest journey they are surrounded by quartz illuminating their senses to allow for a deeper sense of relaxation,” says LeAnne Erickson, director of Anda Spa.
When guests arrive, they are greeted by the dramatic Cambria lobby reception desk in a Mersey black and white design, with a brass overlay. A similar reception desk is located within the spa, fabricated entirely in Cambria's black and white Rose Bay design. Floor to ceiling Cambria quartz walls in Myddleton have elevated the steam room, and quartz walls in Queen Anne and Myddleton line the soaking tub room as well. Additionally, guests can enjoy Anda’s cedar-flanked sauna, now centered by an oversized slab of Cambria's Golden Dragon design, from the luxury black marble collection.
"Our focus is to give customers a positive and memorable experience, by creating an interior design that cultivates a sense of vitality which offers our guest a calmer, more balanced, perspective on life. Connection to the mind, body and spirit is as much a visual journey as it is a physical one at Anda Spa," says Erickson.
Beyond these design enhancements, Anda Spa incorporates quartz-based healing practices and holistic influences into their service offerings. A rose quartz bath soak and gemstone facials are among the treatments offered.
