Apply Now for the ISPA Foundation's 2020 Mary Tabacchi Scholarship

The International Spa Association (ISPA) Foundation has begun accepting applications for the 2020 ISPA Foundation Mary Tabacchi Scholarship. Created in 2006, the scholarship was named in honor of Mary Tabacchi, Ph.D., an eminent figure in the spa industry, and honors a student pursuing a career in spa management, leadership, or entrepreneurship.

The recipient, who will be selected after submitting a written response and completing an interview with the committee, will receive $5,000 dollars towards their education, a one year IPSA student membership, and will be assigned a one year career mentor. The winner will also receive a complimentary registration, travel stipend, and hotel accommodations to attend the 2020 IPSA Conference & Expo, as they will be presented with the award at the convention.

Since the awards began, seventeen students have been awarded the scholarship, all of whom are now spa industry professionals and currently mentor current spa management students. ISPA Foundation hopes that the students who receive these scholarship will go on to help others also succeed in this field.
