Bellus Academy, a beauty and wellness education institution, hosted a beauty workshop earlier this week with tutorials highlighting hair, makeup application, and nail artistry 2015 trends to create engagement with digital influencers. The academy teamed up with the San Diego Style Bloggers group to bring together beauty, fashion, and lifestyle bloggers at its campus (Poway, CA). Bellus Academy professionals and students presented beauty, hair and nail tips. Bellus Academy educator Erik Thrane opened the workshop, providing two hair demonstrations with instructions and tips. Marina Estrella, a Bellus Academy alumna and freelance makeup artist, showcased a fall makeup look. Her tutorial included tips on proper eye makeup brush use and stroke technique. The final tutorial focused on the professional rise in nail artistry. Current Bellus Academy student Ally Caravero demonstrated five different nail art styles, including 3D elements, glitter, and intricate line details. “We wanted to display the expertise and hands-on experience offered at Bellus Academy in an interactive and unique way,” say president, Lynelle Lynch. “By inviting local beauty bloggers, we were able to pass along professionally led tutorials and industry trends to online influencers and reach a wider audience.”
