Carita Paris Celebrates 70 Years

Created by sisters Maria and Rosy Carita in 1945, the Carita Paris luxury body-, hair-, and skincare range celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. The sisters founded their first salon offering hair services at 5 Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honore and later expanded to La Maison de Beauté at 11 Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honore. They sought to reinvent and enhance women’s beauty with multipurpose products. In honor of the anniversary, Carita Paris has launched a limited-edition version of Fluide de Beauté 14 in a white mod bottle inspired by designer André Courrèges. This elixir for the face, body, and hair is composed of an ultra-nourishing blend of corn and hazelnut oils with a refreshing lemon and verbena aroma. “As we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Carita, we are reminded time and again not only of the superb quality, potent benefits, and sophistication of this ultra-prestigious haute beauté brand, but also of the all-inclusive, anti-aging, and high-tech approach to skincare, dreamed up by the Carita sisters almost a century ago,” says Jaklin Idris, director of education for Carita USA. “What began as a vision about revealing the unique beauty of each woman through skincare expertise, scientifically patented products, and professional treatments, evolved today into a globally recognized luxury beauty brand.  Such recognition gives us a tremendous sense of pride and enthusiasm about the future of Carita.”
