Dermalogica Launches New Suncare Formulas

Dermalogica Daylight Defense systemDermalogica introduced a new Protection 50 Sport SPF 50 product, a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen that utilizes lipid-rich Oleosome microspheres to boost sun protection and antioxidants to help defend the skin, along with a repackaged After Sun Repair, a soothing balm that contains extracts of Japanese alder, which scavenges free radicals and accelerates the repair of UV-induced DNA damage after sun exposure. Both suncare products, which can be used for the face and body, are part of Dermalogica’s Daylight Defense system, developed for everyday protection against solar exposure. The Protection 50 Sport SPF 50 features hyaluronic acid to bond moisture to the skin without greasiness while licorice extract helps soothe irritation from UV exposure. After Sun Repair works to reduce redness and cools sunburned skin with chamomile, clove, cucumber, lavender, szechwan pepper, and yucca. Both products are available through Dermalogica authorized skin centers, spas, and salons across the U.S.
