DermYoung and Eden MedSpa Offer Complimentary Facials to NYC First Responders

Surgical and respiratory masks have been vital in protecting healthcare workers and other first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this personal protection equipment (PPE), combined with stress, have been causing various forms of skin damages to those who wear them. DermYoung skincare company and Eden MedSpa (New York City), who had teamed up to gather and donate masks to various hospitals, have collaborated again to create the “Together We Are Love, Together We Will Heal” campaign, treating first responders to a complimentary DermYoung facial and a two-week take-home skincare program.

“We were already working with DermYoung on an initiative to donate PPE to local hospitals, so it made perfect sense to partner on this charitable effort,” says Yvette Jiang, owner of Eden MedSpa. “As a licensed medical esthetician, I also know the DermYoung products will create an immediate glow as well as the deep healing their skin so desperately needs. The first responders have been fighting to take care of us, now is the time for us to take care of them.”

As soon as health officials approve the re-opening of spas, Eden MedSpa will offer the 60-minute clinical facials and the skincare products to medical professionals, healthcare volunteers, and members of the NYPD. The product kit includes popular items from DermYoung’s I-Genesis Collection, as well as DermYoung’s Hydrating Mist, Youth Serum, Illume Oil, Hydrating and Pore Refining Fluid, and its Virbant Boosting Facial Mask. The recover facial and products deliver various anti-inflammatory and calming ingredients, making them ideal for the mask-irritated skin of first responders.

“Both Eden MedSpa and DermYoung hold this campaign dear to our hearts.” says Yang Brooks, Ph.D., founder and CEO of DermYoung. “We hope first responders will experience the long overdue relief and pampering and feel the unity in our beauty and wellness industry.”
