Farmaesthetic’s Founder, Brenda Brock, to Host Sustainable Beauty from the Farm WorkshopFarmaesthetics founder, formulator, and CEO, Brenda Brock, will explore the craft of traditional herbal formulation in the Sustainable Beauty from the Farm workshop, at the Omega Institute (Rhinebeck, NY) from Sept. 20 to 22. Attendees will use herbs, flowers, oils, and grains to create healing infusions to make their own herbal skincare products specific to their skincare needs, while learning about organic, green, and sustainable terminology. “We are honored to have Brenda Brock hold her Sustainability from the Farm workshop here,” says Omega CEO Skip Backus. “Sustainability is one of Omega's core values. We consider that the impact of our actions and our facilities are grounded in the awareness of our relationship to the environment, which is one of the many reasons we built the Omega Center for Sustainable Living (OCSL).” The OCSL, one of the greenest buildings in America, and is an environmental education center and natural water reclamation facility that treats 100 percent of Omega's wastewater with net zero energy and zero chemicals.
