On Saturday, June 10, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Troon North is joining forces with other Four Seasons locations to provide guests with extended wellness-oriented spa, fitness, and food offerings.
Guests can begin their day with a leisurely two-hour, wellness bike ride that will depart the resort at 7 am. The ride will explore the landscape of North Scottsdale at a casual pace, following a professional guide from Arizona Outback Adventures who will lead the group. The trip includes a hybrid bike, helmet, and water. The ride starts at $45 per rider with pre-registration required. Local residents and hotel guests can book their ride online.
Early-risers, can kick their day off with a sunrise Tai Chi class prior to the bike ride, starting at 6 am. Hosted on Troon Lawn, the class is followed by a morning yoga class that will begin at 7 am on the Fountain Terrace. Both classes can be purchased for $15 each, or $20 for both, including a healthy smoothie. Water and towels will be provided.
During the afternoon, local vendors like Queen Creek Olive Mill, Hayden Flour Mills, Crow’s Dairy, and Valley Honey are presenting a complimentary marketplace tasting in the resort’s lobby. Guests are invited to mingle among the vendors between 4 and 6 that evening to learn about the locally sourced cuisine that’s offered throughout the property.
“Living well is all about balance and supporting both physical and mental wellbeing and health,” says spa director Lia Rowland. “Global Wellness Day provides a great reminder to recharge, reconnect, and take time to instill and support those overall wellness efforts.”
Local visitors of the resort can extend their participation in the festivities with a Global Wellness Day Pass that includes the Tai Chi or morning yoga class, a 25-minute treatment, and a healthy lunch at Proof, one of the resort’s onsite eateries.
