Shashi Batra, president of Credo (multiple locations), has died at age 51. Batra is known for his numerous contributions to the beauty industry.

Batra founded Credo, a beauty retail concept and spa with both online and destination stores, through a partnership with the Next World Group in 2014. Credo features skincare, makeup, bath, and body products that are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and organic.

He has also served in numerous senior leadership roles for well known beauty and fashion companies, including Estée Lauder and Victoria's Secret Beauty among others before becoming an investment partner at Next World Group and founding Credo Beauty in 2014.
