Jessica Cosmetics International Honored by Japan Nail Association

Jessica Cosmetics International Honored by Japan Nail AssociationJessica Vartoughian, founder and CEO of Jessica Cosmetics International, and was honored with the Japan Nail Associations (JNA) Certificate of Gratitude for her contributions to the Japanese nail industry. She has been recognized for her efforts, including mentoring and training manicurists, spa and salon owners, and management teams. “Japan is very special to me because it was here that the JNA embraced the Jessica brand and my natural nailcare system,” says Vartoughian. “It was very hard to be a woman business owner, traveling in a foreign country, and going against the trend. But at that time, when I looked out into the small audience, it was these 25 people that gave me the courage and the support to keep moving ahead. The support of the JNA, and their belief and respect for natural nails, kept me going. So year after year, I came back stronger and better and created a brand that I am so very proud of.” In addition to thanking the professionals of JNA, Vartoughian paid tribute to her current distributor Takigawa, as well as the students working to learn the trade, spa and salon owners, and distributors who have collectively built a thriving and growing nail industry in Japan.
