The Comphy Company, a leading microfiber sheet manufacturer, has announced its partnership with Spa by JW, a new spa concept from JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts. Comphy will play an integral role in treatment room design at the first U.S. Spa by JW at the JW Marriott Houston Downtown, debuting in September, followed by the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar in December. “It’s always a great honor to work with other innovators in the industry, so we were thrilled to work with the JW Marriott team on this project,” says Mia Richardson, founder and CEO of Comphy Company. “Our design team worked closely with Kenneth Ryan, senior director of global spa operations of Marriott International, to take their treatment rooms to a new level. It’s been an exciting collaboration.” The new concept offers guests an intuitive experience with treatments and products designed to address the company’s four pillars: Calm, Indulge, Invigorate, and Renew. “Our guests are incredibly passionate about wellbeing but they don’t always have the time to invest in cultivating it,” says Mitzi Gaskins, vice president and global brand manager for JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts. “They are looking for an experience that delivers true impact and results that are tailored to their state of mind.” The spa will feature a retail area, which is accessible via an open and inviting lounge space. It will contain both traditional and non-traditional spa products, such as Comphy Company sheets for home bedding. “We collaborated with Comphy Company to help achieve a consistent look in our treatment rooms with custom-designed bed skirts, which hide unsightly cords,” says Ryan. “The microfiber sheet and skirt are white creating a seamless line. To give the treatment rooms a pop of personality, custom saddles were designed in unique patterns and styles. From urban to tropical, Comphy authentically captured the culture and style of each Spa by JW destination.”
