Dana Campbell, CPC -ACC, is on a mission to irradiate corporate burnout by helping the workplace embrace human brilliance. She is bringing this focus to American Spa's Women in Wellness Leadership Conference with the workshop entitled, “When meditation isn't enough: transcending burnout beyond the cushion.”
During her session, she will delve into the topic of burnout and help participants discover how to successfully manage and overcome it. “Ample research suggests how important meditation is for living a balance life, but what happens when it’s not enough to keep you from burning out?” asks Campbell. “In this workshop, we'll discuss the primary factors that drive burnout, explore how mind-body practices can support revival, and provide tangible steps for re-igniting your fire.”
Campbell is the ideal facilitator for this empowering session. As the founder and CEO of Optimize Corp, a culture consulting and coaching firm, she partners with organizations to design conscious cultures that amplify resilience and agility. Her signature coaching program, “On Her Terms,” helps female leaders transcend burnout to build meaningful and fulfilling careers. Her unique approach to preventing and overcoming burnout stems from more than a decade in cultural transformation consulting and more than 20 years studying, practicing, and teaching yoga and mindfulness. She is a faculty member at Kriplau and regular contributor for Huffington Post.
Campbell is one of many powerful women who will be headlining the conference, which will be taking place March 6, 2018, in New York City. This thoughtfully curated day-long experience is designed to help female leaders and aspiring leaders in the wellness space develop their professional and personal goals while networking with their peers. It will include several keynotes and a variety of breakout sessions attendees can attend based on their personal goals. Additional speakers will be announced in coming weeks.
The day will also include a networking lunch where attendees will choose a table that will be discussing an issue that resonates. It will end with a networking cocktail party. Attendees will receive a gift bag, local hotel and spa discounts, and VIP passes to IECSC New York, which takes place the prior weekend. Post-event, they will have access to a private American Spa Institute eLearning course with videos, presentations, and more from the day.
