Massage Envy Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Massage Envy (multiple locations) has announced its plans to further expand its body and skincare service offerings at its more than 1,150 franchise locations. Over the years, Massage Envy has given more than 110 million massages, and 2017 marks the company’s 15-year anniversary. “Massage Envy pioneered the membership model in the wellness space, allowing everyone to make bodycare part of their regular routine to help them feel their best and do more of the things they love,” says CEO Joe Magnacca.

Beginning later this year, Massage Envy will become the first national brand to offer an assisted stretching service as part of its member’s service options. In 2016, the company expanded its skincare offerings and plans on continuing to do so throughout 2017. New skincare options include chemical peels, featuring PCA Skincare products and Microderm Infusions, a unique service that combines microderm abrasion with precision timed hydration to deliver an effective skin resurfacing result. The recent additions stem from the desire to meet consumer needs and drive growth for the business and its franchisees. “We’re excited to introduce more of these services, in more markets, during this milestone year,” says Magnacca. In the last 15 years, Massage Envy has become the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians, with more than 35,000 dedicated wellness professionals between its 1,165 franchise locations in 49 states.
