Meet S’Well: The Wellness Industry’s Newest PR Firm

Two industry veterans of the spa and wellness sectors are combining forces to create a new communications firm that will represent clients of the $3.7 trillion global wellness economy. Kim Marshall and Darlene Fiske have launched S’Well Public Relations as a subsidiary company to their established agencies, The Marshall Plan and The Fiske Group. The duo plans on utilizing creative communications and public relations to work with brands who wish to make the world “so well.”

In their new venture, the team plans on helping brands better position themselves in an ever-growing wellness marketplace. Utilizing strategic positioning, informed storytelling, media relations, and influencer vetting, the firm will distribute content for clients via a number of multi-channel platforms. With offices in Austin, TX, Los Angeles, and soon-to-be New York City, S’Well’s service offerings include strategic visioning sessions, creative storytelling, public relations, press kit development, reputation management and media placement, press trip development, social media consulting, content creation, influencer immersion, product launches, and more.

Marshall, who launched one of the first agencies to specialize in spas during the mid ‘90s, has worked with brands including Ritz Carlton and Waldorf Astoria, among a number of others. She is a founding ambassador of Global Wellness Day and is part of the Global Wellness Institute’s Beauty to Wellness Initiative. Fiske spent 10 years at Lake Austin Spa Resort and has since represented a number of high-profile resorts. She’s also a regular speaker at industry events and contributor for industry publications.
